Welcome! What's your name? How can I help?" everything fast and in spanish only. While you understand and have practiced common phrases from Duolingo, fear sets in because you're unsure how to continue the conversation after stating your name. Does this sound familiar?
How to learn Spanish in 10 Days
Learning Spanish in just 10 days is a challenging goal, especially if you aim for proficiency. However, with focused effort, it's possible to achieve some basic level of understanding and communication.

Here are my tips:
1) Set Realistic Goals
You need to focus on the basics of Spanish: Aim to learn essential phrases, greetings, numbers, and common expressions, things that will help you to start small talks with locals and feel more confident around you.
2) Prioritize Communication
The emphasis has to be in speaking and understanding over perfect grammar. However, in my 10 days spanish survival course, I give you easy techniques to understand spanish grammar by yourself.
3) Intensive Study Plan
Fix your daily schedule, you need to dedicate several hours each day to studying. A good plan could be 2-4 hours of focused study spanish daily. You can start with flashcards of verbs, or of course duolingo for vocabulary.
4) Use a Structured Course
Learning a language will be easier if you follow a structured language learning program like the one that I have for free here!
5) Key Areas to Focus On
Vocabulary:
Learn the most common words and phrases. Pronunciation: Here is my tip to pronounce spanish correctly: watch reality tv in spanish, yes! I said Reality TV, movies have more complex dialogues and prepared scripts that reality shows or youtubers do not normally have, that is why they use slang, expressions and easy catch phrases that you will understand with time and you can repeat later on.
Use your strategy to accomplish your goals, and schedule one weekly episode or movie. It gets better, if you enjoy the show, I will recommend you a few options in another post.
If you don’t know enough of the language to turn the subtitles off, keep a list of new vocabulary words you hear and what you think they mean. Look them up later, if you want, or just get used to the sense of the meaning.
